$100K Club

One Hundred Members One Pledge at a Time!

 

Origin
The $100K Club was created in November 2010, to sustain OLLI's operations for years to come and to support the future acquisition of specialized classroom space and other enhancements. OLLI's Board set a goal of increasing its endowment fund with the Centre Foundation from $30,000 to $360,000 within ten years. 

Concept
Our goal is to enroll at least 100 people who value lifelong learning, and whose lives have been enriched by OLLI, as members of the $100K Club by pledging a gift of $1,000 each.

Pledges
All pledges can be tailored to meet the financial situtation of the donor. For example, supporters may make a one-time $1,000 gift, two $500 payments over a two-year period, or $200 per year toward a five-year pledge.

Sustainability
Through his Foundation, Bernard Osher provided grants and endowments to create a strong foundation on which OLLIs can build. The Osher Foundation urges all of its OLLIs to raise additional funds for long-term sustainability by launching their own fundraising campaigns in order to remain affordable and sustainable for future generations.

100% of all pledge contributions will be invested in the OLLI at Penn State endowment fund at the Centre Foundation. The annual interest from this fund will be used to secure specialized classroom space, fund other enhancements or offset operational costs as determined by the Board.

In this way, all $100K Club donations will be gifts that keep on giving for the future!

Pledge Using Paypal
A $1000 pledge may be made to OLLI at Penn State by clicking on one of the Subscribe buttons on the right. Choose the payment plan which will suit your needs. You will be able to securely set up your tax-deductible donation payment schedule via PayPal. You will be required to set up a PayPal account which will bill your credit card directly according to the schedule chosen.

$50 quarterly for 20 payments: fulfilled in 5 years

 

 

$55.56 quarterly for 18 payments: fulfilled in 4.5 years

$71.43 quarterly for 14 payments: fulfilled in 3.5 years

$33.35 monthly for 30 payments: fulfilled in 2.5 years

$41.67 monthly for 24 payments: fulfilled in 2 years

OLLI at Penn State is exempt from federal income taxes under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. It is also exempt from state taxes and is registered with the Pennsylvania Bureau of Charitable Organizations. All contributions to OLLI at Penn State are tax deductible.
